Former Williams and Associates Building

Macon, Georgia – Art Barry III, SIOR, Partner and Associate Broker of Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia closed the sale of the former Williams and Associates building at 535 Coliseum Drive/Emery Highway in Macon, Georgia at a sales price of $2,000,000 on November 12, 2007.

The existing 17,000 square foot multi-story brick office building on 3.49 corner acres was sold to Regency Hospital Company LLC for their new long term acute care 60 bed hospital.
Williams & Associates, a Macon based full service commercial and industrial general contracting company originally built this facility in 1975 as their headquarters in Macon. Williams & Associates employed over 100 people in their Macon office. Williams closed their operations in January 2007.

Regency Hospital, an Atlanta based acute/long term care hospital care company, will occupy the existing Williams office tower and will, in 2009, build an adjoining 35,000 square foot hospital building with up to 60 beds suited for long term/acute care patients. Regency will employ over 100 employees including administrative staff and medical professionals at this new location.
